It is not strange that women complain from nuisances at vaginal level and present associated symptoms: secretions, bad smell, pruritus (itch), among others. A vaginal infection can be produced by different microorganisms such as the gardnerella vaginalis, the trichomona, candid albicans, clamidias, estreptococus and even the herpes virus that can enter in direct relationship with the cancer in the uterus.

It is said that fungii come from the use of water of bad quality for the cleansing; the bacterial infections have been seen to take place in women that work in areas of swamps or in the sea. And the herpes have periods of latency, that is to say that it appears and it disappears alternatingly. A recommendation is the daily shower. For the hygiene, it is better to have acidic water and not to use scented soaps, since they alter the ph of the vagina.

Two types of infections cause these sufferings: bacterial and mycotic. The mycotic type can take place because of the humidity (for not drying off well), the use of daily protectors and scented soap. They are manifested with pruritus and there are women that even end up using alcohol or lemon juice, which is contraindicated. And to the bacterial infections contributes the fact that women may introduce the fingernails to relief the itch.

The professionals say that the fact of going to the swimming pool, to the river or even to the sea can be source of a vaginal infection. The use of acidic water is recommended for disinfecting and avoid the use of scented soap, since the vagina has an acidi ph and the soap has an alkaline ph.
