The health
During the mature age it is when we begin to realize the first effects of the aging. Our body loses flexibility and speed, at the same time our learning capacity start decreasing.
We put to your consideration the diverse theories that exist at the moment of explain the aging.
The biology, defines aging like the group of inevitable and irreversible modifications that take place in an organism along years, and that finally leads to death. In humans, these modifications include the reduction of the flexibility of tissues, the loss of some nervous cells, the hardening of the sanguine vessels and the general decrease of the corporal tone. Also, in us mammals the immune system loses its capacity to deal with infections and illness gradually, because with time the antigens produced are unable to distinguish among friendly cells (own) and enemies (not own).
At the moment, most of the experts consider that the aging is not the result of an isolated mechanism but rather understood as a group of phenomena that act in conjunction.
The form in which the population ages is also determined by the social circumstances and the individual atmosphere, in a process that includes cultural and psyco-social aspects. Sociological and behavior studies, help to dissipate the established myths about the unavoidable of the aging, such as the belief that the intelligence reaches its maximum level in the adolescence, starting deterioration from then; another myth speaks of the irreversible descent of the sexual activity in the half stage of the life, but however, at the moment we know that this maintains during the last years.
