The health
There is no scientific general opinion about the true nature of the process of the aging, but studies exist that have raised several hypothesis.
Next we will analyze some of the main and more important that exist at the moment:
One of the most important genetic concepts, the so called theory of the error, supposes that classic alterations of the age are due to accumulated genetic errors or transmitted by inheritance. These damages or errors reduce or impede the appropriate operation of the cells.
Leonard Hayflick, on the other hand, observed in a cellular cultivation that certain human cells only experienced a limited number of cellular divisions before dying. This suggests that the aging is programmed inside the cells, explaining at the same time the differences that exist in the longevity of life on different animal species. This was called Hayflick effect, in honor to its discoverer.
According to the immune theory of the aging , the organism goes losing the capacity of the self-defense gradually from patogen invaders and its own anomalous cells. It sustains that the immune system loses the capacity to distinguish between the own and external cells. When this happens the own tissues are attacked, which is known as autoimmune disease.
The Wear and Tear theory explains that the metabolism produces toxic residuals that become lipids, these become rancid along years contaminating the cellular environment gradually. The damage goes accumulating gradually until the organism falls finally as a waste.
Other, called theory of the planned obsolescence, explains that the aging is genetic and it is programmed in the organism the same as the puberty. This means that the periods that the man crosses in his life, are perfectly established from the origin.
The theory of the glucose like cause of the aging says that the proteins and the cells stick together, because the sugar is an energetic retainer of the oxygen. This happens in a reaction called crossed-concatenation that alters the normal operation of the organism. Dr. Chun says, that is the cellular acidity and not the sugar, the one that makes that the glucose carries out a crossed-concatenation with the protein.
The theory of the metabolic acceleration affirms that a deceleration of the metabolism diminishes the aging process. Establishes that each one has a certain metabolism for a lifetime and once exceeded, the death takes place.
The theory of the free radicals, establishes that all the illnesses associated with the premature aging are caused and hurried by the oxidative stress that can be defined as the measure of the stable level of reactive oxygen (oxygen radicals) in the biological systems. Some molecules lose an electron (a particle) due to the physical or chemical effects of the nature and they should recover it. This causes a temporary imbalance, until the elements that compose that molecule are completed again. During this recovery process, the exchange of particles generates damage to the walls of the cell or even its destruction. The conclusion according to what is observed, is that the use of powerful antioxidants diminishes the incidence of these illnesses. This is the reason for the big success that has been generated in the use of vitamins and antioxidants.
The theories of the acidity, outlined by Japanese scientists, as Dr. Herman Aihara in his book "Acid and Alkaline"; as Dr. Keichi Morishita in his book "The Hidden Truth of the Cancer"; and as the excellent investigator Dr. Barucchi in his book "Alkalize or Die"; they establish that when the fluids that surround the cells, especially those of the blood, are being acidified excessively, it will cause these cells become abnormal to survive in this atmosphere.
